One of Monaco’s most glamorous charity evenings, the Butterfly Ball, will celebrate its 10th anniversary this October at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo…

To mark the milestone, organisers Caudwell Children have brought in internationally acclaimed event designer Billy Folchetti as guest creative director.

Folchetti, founder of Luxe x, is known for creating immersive experiences for celebrities, luxury brands, and elite clients across the globe. With over 300 high-profile events to his name, his task will be to elevate the Butterfly Ball Monaco into an evening that blends elegance, spectacle, and impact in support of disabled and autistic children.

“The future belongs to our kids,” Folchetti said ahead of the event. “Being part of giving them hope and opportunity is one of the greatest honours of my life.”

The Butterfly Ball Monaco was launched in 2015 by Modesta Vžesniauskaitė, partner of entrepreneur and philanthropist John Caudwell. Over the past decade it has grown into one of the Principality’s signature charity galas, attracting celebrities, philanthropists, and business leaders, while raising millions for children in need. Funds provide vital support such as mobility and sensory equipment, autism assessments, and practical family services.

Claire Marshall, CEO of Caudwell Children, said Folchetti’s involvement would help set a new standard: “The funds raised truly transform lives, and this year promises to be our most memorable yet.” Sponsored by Burgess Yachts, the anniversary edition on 21 October will combine fine dining, a luxury auction, and a fully immersive gala experience.
