The Ferretti Group has marked a decade of its exclusive “Private Preview” in true Riviera style: with eight world premieres, a fleet of over 30 luxury yachts and a floating stage hosting Simply Red, who used the occasion to kick off their 40th anniversary world tour.

From Thursday, September 4 to Sunday, September 7, the Yacht Club de Monaco was transformed into a playground for the world’s elite, where champagne met carbon fibre, and the latest offerings from Ferretti Yachts, Itama, Riva and Pershing were revealed under the Mediterranean sun. Shipowners and select guests were treated to sea trials, private viewings and a culinary performance from three-Michelin-starred chef Antonio Mellino of Quattro Passi fame, who served up a menu as polished as the chrome on the Riva Cento’s stern.

The showstopper came on Saturday night, when Mick Hucknall and Simply Red performed a set of classics and new material above the waterline, surrounded by a flotilla of multimillion-euro yachts shimmering under the Monaco lights. “Talent and passion are the essential ingredients for any success, whether it’s music or yachts,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi, who hailed the tenth edition as “the best way to open the boat show season.”

Among the headliners of the hardware on display were the Ferretti Yachts 800, the boldly styled Itama 54, the Riva 58′ Capri and the Riva 112′ Dolcevita Super, alongside special editions such as the Riva Cento, built to celebrate the 100th Rivamare, and the Pershing GTX70, marking Pershing’s own 40th anniversary. With eight launches and a crowd still humming “Stars” as they departed, the Private Preview set a high bar for the season ahead – proof that in Monaco, even boat shows know how to throw a party.
