The countdown has begun for one of the Principality’s most important annual events…
The Monaco Yacht Show will take place from 24th to 27th September in Port Hercule, transforming the harbour into the world’s leading stage for superyachting. Preparations are already under way, with more than 16,000 square metres of temporary structures being installed over the next three weeks to accommodate the show’s 550 international exhibitors.
In practical terms, the set-up is vast; around 400 truckloads of material are delivered and assembled to create exhibition spaces across the port. Organisers emphasise that every year they optimise logistics to reduce disruption in the city centre, but acknowledge the challenge of hosting such a large event in Monaco’s compact setting.
This year’s edition will once again be divided into sector-specific zones. The Parvis Piscine tent will showcase interior design, while two further exhibition areas on the Darse Sud and Quai Albert Ier will feature equipment, services and refit companies. At the Louis II bend, a design hub will highlight innovation and the future of yacht building. The Adventure Area on Quai Antoine Ier will display water toys and accessories, while the stars of the show, the yachts themselves, will line Port Hercule in impressive numbers.
Traffic restrictions will be in place from 15 September, with the Route de la Piscine closed during the event itself. Normal circulation is expected to resume in early October.
With its global reputation and significant economic impact, the Monaco Yacht Show remains a landmark in the Principality’s calendar, drawing industry leaders, owners and enthusiasts from around the world.
