Monaco Rugby Sevens have wrapped up their 2025 summer campaign in the In Extenso Supersevens on a high, finishing comfortably top of the overall standings after three intense stages. The team collected two titles and reached a third final in Pau over the weekend, amassing 58 points, well clear of their nearest challengers on 39.
Their summer began with a commanding victory in the opening stage, followed by another triumph that underlined their consistency. In Pau, the hat-trick slipped away in a fiercely fought final against UBB Sevens, but the squad’s performance over the series left little doubt about their credentials.
Head Coach Fabien Camin credited the balance between preparation, recovery and intensity as key to their success, with the players showing resilience and cohesion throughout the competition. “We set out to build momentum and secure our spot for the grand finale in Paris, and we’ve done exactly that,” Camin said.
Monaco now turn their attention to the Paris La Défense Arena, where the Supersevens finale will take place in February 2026. Sitting at the top of the table and brimming with confidence, the side are well placed to challenge for the ultimate prize.
