The Princess Grace Foundation has announced its 2025 award recipients, spotlighting 30 emerging talents in theatre, dance, and film. This year’s honours include 18 Princess Grace Award winners and 12 Honorary Mentions, all recognised for their creative impact on the performing arts.

Award winners will each receive $15,000, while Honorary Mentions will be granted $1,500, with no restrictions on how the funds are used. The programme supports a wide range of disciplines, from directing and choreography to production and performance. Over the decades, the Foundation has built a global community of more than 900 artists.

Marking a first for the organisation, 2025 sees the introduction of the Princess Grace Artist Grant. Valued at $10,000, the grant also includes personalised mentoring through the SPA (Scaffolding for Practicing Artists) programme, delivered in partnership with the MAP Fund, to help creators develop their artistic voice and professional direction.

The Princess Grace Statue Award, given to former laureates whose careers have reached exceptional heights, was awarded to Isabella Boylston, principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre, and acclaimed filmmaker Sky Hopinka. Both received $25,000 and a bronze statue. Hopinka, who was first supported by the Foundation in 2015, has since become a MacArthur Fellow and one of the most respected voices in contemporary filmmaking.

The awards ceremony will take place on October 29 at the Plaza Hotel in New York, with His Serene Highness Prince Albert II in attendance.
