The Association of Friends of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco (AAMOM) hosted a glittering summer fundraiser on Saturday, 26 July, drawing around 250 guests to the rooftop of the iconic museum for an evening of generosity and celebration.
The event, aptly named Party for a Cause and organised in partnership with the Trinity Bar and Cocktail Club, aimed to finance the restoration of historic artefacts from the museum’s prestigious collections. “Thanks to the commitment of our partners, guests, and volunteers, treasured objects steeped in history will be preserved for future generations,” said AAMOM President Leila Elling.
Guests enjoyed a refined cocktail dinner accompanied by live DJ sets from Seb, Marc, and Anata Project, with Monte Carlo Champagne, Monte Carlo Vermouth, and Rossi artisan ice cream adding to the evening’s flavour. Family-friendly touches included a relaxation space from Thermes Marins and a children’s corner featuring a ceramic painting workshop by Forms Monaco.
A highlight of the night was a raffle boasting exceptional prizes, including an original crab lithograph gifted by the Oceanographic Museum, a dinner for two at Yannick Alléno’s restaurant courtesy of Hôtel Hermitage, jewellery by APM Monaco, dining at Trinity, tasting boxes from Monte Carlo Champagne and Vermouth, and a Bukawa Swimwear voucher.
The evening concluded with Monaco’s dazzling fireworks, creating a picture-perfect finale captured by Photobooth Monaco.
More than just a fundraiser, the Summer Party brought together the local community in support of marine heritage preservation – the very mission at the heart of AAMOM’s work.
