AS Monaco has teamed up with local charity Les Enfants de Frankie to launch a back-to-school supply collection, aiming to help children in need across Monaco and the Alpes-Maritimes start the school year on the right foot.
Donations of notebooks, pencil cases, paper, binders and other essential supplies can be dropped off at AS Monaco’s stands at Port Hercule during the town hall’s summer village. Collections will run during opening hours, from 16:00 to 22:30, until Friday, August 22.
The initiative, a summer tradition for Les Enfants de Frankie, directly benefits sick children, those with disabilities, and young people receiving social assistance. Partner institutions will pick up and distribute the supplies on Wednesday, August 27 .
Last year, the drive supported around 230 children, and organisers hope to surpass that figure this time. “The aim is simple,” the association said, “to ensure every child heads back to school with dignity and the tools they need to succeed.”
