The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is set to cast a new light on the world of yachting this year with Tribute to Yachting, an immersive photographic exhibition by renowned French photographer Guillaume Plisson. Running from Wednesday, September 24 to Saturday, September 27, the exhibition will transform Port Hercule into an open-air gallery of 100 large-format images capturing the elegance, power and soul of the industry.
This artistic collaboration marks a bold step for the MYS, which aims to enrich the visitor experience by weaving emotional storytelling into its prestigious showcase of innovation and design. The photographs will be seamlessly integrated into the show’s layout, creating reflective moments amid the lively atmosphere of the quays.
The exhibition will debut with an exclusive preview during the Grand Opening Night, offering a first glimpse of Plisson’s evocative work before the official opening. His images go beyond the polished exteriors of superyachts, delving into the craftsmanship, passion and human stories that drive the industry.
“With ‘Tribute to Yachting,’ we invite our visitors to rediscover this world not only through its technical brilliance but through the emotion it inspires: wonder, connection, and beauty,” said Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of the Monaco Yacht Show.
Plisson, who has spent years documenting the yachting universe, described the project as a heartfelt celebration of the people behind the vessels. “This exhibition reflects a shared desire to offer an emotional perspective on yachting. Every image exists thanks to the trust and generosity of shipowners, designers, shipyards and crews who allowed me to capture their world. It is both a retrospective and a tribute to the human spirit of yachting.”
Far from being a mere display, Tribute to Yachting aims to ignite curiosity and deepen appreciation for the artistry and innovation that define the industry. By blending fine art with cutting-edge marine technology, the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show promises not only to showcase the best of yachting, but to make visitors feel its magic.
