A beloved name in Monaco’s dining scene has found a new home…
Moshi Moshi, the much-loved Japanese restaurant formerly based in Fontvieille, has reopened on the first floor of the Condamine Market, bringing its creative blend of Japanese tradition and Mediterranean flavour to a bigger, brighter space.
Now ideally located at the heart of La Condamine, Moshi Moshi’s new setting allows chef Jean-Luc to push the boundaries of fusion cuisine. While honouring classic Japanese techniques, the menu showcases Mediterranean influences and local produce. Expect chiso-leaf pesto with parmesan and truffle, or delicately prepared carpaccios with a twist. The team works closely with local fishers and market vendors to offer fresh, seasonal dishes that evolve daily.
“It’s not just raw fish,” says the team. “We’re doing cooked dishes like diced sea bass using Japanese techniques but making them approachable and accessible.” The result is a menu that’s as inventive as it is comforting, suitable for both curious first-timers and seasoned sushi lovers.
Behind the scenes, the original team has returned. David, who ran the Fontvieille location for years, remains a friendly fixture, and chef Jean-Luc continues to delight regulars with his culinary talent. The new space also includes a warm and inviting dining room perfect for date nights, casual lunches, or private parties.
