As part of its ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusion, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco hosted a special visit on Monday for a group of individuals with disabilities, supported by AMAPEI (Association Monégasque pour l’Aide et la Protection de l’Enfance Inadaptée). This event falls under the “Culture and Inclusion” program, a joint initiative launched in 2023 by the Grimaldi Forum and its longstanding partner CMB Monaco.
Approximately fifteen participants took part in an immersive, guided tour of the current exhibition, “Colours! Masterpieces from the Centre Pompidou.” The experience was designed to be both educational and sensory, featuring interactive activities that explored the emotional resonance of color. Guests were encouraged to interpret colors through movement and expression, engaging questions like: “What emotion does this color evoke? How can you express it physically?”
This inclusive initiative follows previous successes since the program’s launch. In 2023, during the Monet in Full Light exhibition, children supported by the association Les Enfants de Frankie were welcomed. The following year, during Turner’s Sublime Legacy, a group of children, teens, and young adults with autism visited in partnership with Monaco Disease Power, who are scheduled to return for another visit.
The Grimaldi Forum continues to ensure its exhibitions are accessible to all. Admission to “Colours!” is priced at 14 euros total for people with disabilities and their accompanying guests, reinforcing the Forum’s mission to make art and culture available to everyone.
