As the summer party season heats up, Monaco is doubling down on its efforts to prevent alcohol-related tragedies on the road…
BAF Monaco, founded by Camille Gotlib in 2017, has returned with its lifesaving shuttle service, offering free late-night rides to anyone who has had too much to drink. It’s a simple but powerful solution to a deadly problem. Drunk driving remains responsible for 30% of road deaths, and the Principality is no exception.
Last year’s devastating accidents, some fatal and others causing widespread shock, underscored the urgency of action. In response, BAF’s message is clear: there’s no excuse for getting behind the wheel intoxicated. Two dedicated shuttles, one operating in Monaco and the other in neighbouring towns, run six nights a week from midnight to 5 a.m., helping revellers get home safely without risking lives.
With support from Sea Bay and Twiga, BAF Monaco has already helped over 200 people get home safely this season since launching on July 1. Last year, that figure reached over 700. This year, organisers are confident they can go even further.
Calling for a ride is easy, just reach out via BAF Monaco’s social media or direct phone number, share your location, and a driver will be on the way. The message couldn’t be clearer: the party doesn’t have to end in disaster. Take the ride, save a life; maybe even your own!
