Ansu Fati made his first public appearance as an AS Monaco player on Tuesday, July 22, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd to the AS Monaco Village at Port Hercule. Just weeks after officially joining the club on July 1, the Spanish forward was warmly welcomed by more than 300 supporters, including many children, during a lively autograph session. Fati, wearing his new number 31 jersey, engaged with fans in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, signing autographs, posing for selfies, and exchanging words with those eager to greet him.

Many fans turned out in the club’s brand-new 2025/26 kit featuring Fati’s name, creating a strong show of support less than a month before the Ligue 1 season kicks off. Bouba, the club’s ever-playful mascot, added to the cheerful scene with his animated presence.

Speaking at the event, Fati expressed his appreciation, saying he was thrilled to be in Monaco and grateful for the warm welcome. He thanked fans for turning out in such large numbers and shared how much it meant to him to begin building connections with his new supporters.

The autograph session was part of the AS Monaco Village’s summer program, which is bringing football and fun to Port Hercule every day until August 24. Open daily from 16:00 to 22:30, the Village features a range of interactive activities for visitors of all ages. Families and fans can enjoy games such as mini football matches, a human-sized foosball setup (new this year), precision challenges on a giant target, trivia contests, and fast-paced foosball matches. A pop-up shop offers the latest club merchandise, including the 2025/26 kits, while daily prize giveaways keep the energy high.

A number of events are planned throughout the summer. On Friday, July 25, a 4v4 football tournament will be held for young players aged 12 to 15, beginning at 18:00. Participation is free but requires prior registration. Then on Tuesday, July 29, an open training session led by U19 players from AS Monaco’s Academy will take place from 17:30 to 18:30. This interactive session is free and open to all children and teens—no registration required.

The AS Monaco Village is also embracing a spirit of solidarity with a school supply drive benefiting the association Les Enfants de Frankie. Until August 22, visitors can donate new items such as notebooks, pens, glue sticks, and rulers. The supplies will be distributed to local families facing financial hardship in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Meanwhile, Port Hercule is alive with summer activities organized by the Monaco City Hall. In addition to the AS Monaco Village, the waterfront hosts rides, go-karts for kids and adults, trampolines, duck-fishing games, basketball courts, mini boat rides, temporary tattoo stands, and a variety of family-friendly attractions. A dedicated children’s workshop area, developed in collaboration with the Grimaldi Forum and inspired by its current exhibition “Colours!”, offers art-based activities for young visitors.

Two major festive nights are also scheduled as highlights of the summer. On Saturday, July 26, a fireworks display at 22:30 will be followed by a DJ-led evening party. On Friday, August 9, another fireworks show will take place at 22:00, followed by a live pop-rock concert.

The AS Monaco Village at Port Hercule, open daily until August 24, continues to serve as a lively meeting place for fans, locals, and visitors, offering free access to football-themed fun and entertainment in the heart of the Principality.
