The annual Fight Aids Monaco gala returned in style last night, transforming the Sporting Hall of Stars into a celebration of unity and purpose…

Under the theme of “black and white tie” inspired by artist Jean-Jacques Goldman, guests traded traditional evening wear for monochrome elegance, creating a striking visual tribute to the cause. The gala, a beloved fixture in Monaco’s summer calendar, gathered volunteers, supporters, and the Principality’s most generous souls to raise essential funds for the association’s projects.

Founded over 20 years ago by Princess Stéphanie, Fight Aids Monaco works to combat HIV/AIDS stigma and support those affected. Its residential project in Carpentras remains one of its most ambitious programmes, offering care and dignity to residents, made possible by funds raised at events like this. “It warms our hearts to see Monaco stand with us,” said organisers, highlighting how the association’s mission has evolved into a movement embraced by the entire community.

Among those attending was His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, showing his support for the cause, as well as the Monegasque Red Cross, whose values of humanity, mutual aid, and tolerance align with Fight Aids Monaco’s fight against discrimination and isolation. Throughout the evening, guests were reminded that beyond the glamour lay a deeper purpose: building understanding and empathy for those living with HIV/AIDS. As one attendee noted, “Today, people are no longer afraid to talk about it – we are all united for this cause.”

The evening proved once again that in Monaco, solidarity remains at the heart of its identity, with Fight Aids Monaco leading by example to bring compassion, awareness, and hope to those who need it most.
