The Principality of Monaco has officially announced the appointment of Christophe Mirmand as its new Minister of State. He will be sworn in and assume office on Monday, July 21, in a formal ceremony before His Serene Highness Prince Albert II.

Currently serving as Chief of Cabinet at France’s Ministry for Overseas Territories, Mirmand brings with him a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in the French civil service. He has held several high-level roles, including Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes, Corsica, Brittany, and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regions, demonstrating a proven track record in both central and regional governance.

Praised for his professionalism, discipline, and deep institutional knowledge, Mirmand is expected to be a key asset as Monaco navigates both its ongoing priorities and emerging strategic challenges.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II also expressed his sincere appreciation to Isabelle Berro-Amade, who has served as Interim Minister of State during the transition. Her steadfast leadership and dedication ensured the smooth continuity of government operations during this period.
