Monaco has launched its participation in the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) Investor Week, welcoming innovators, investors, and entrepreneurs to the Principality this week…
Held at Monacotech and organised in partnership with the Monaco Economic Board and Monaco’s Young Economic Chamber, the event aimed to showcase the strength and diversity of Monaco’s entrepreneurial landscape.
With over 40 countries taking part in WBAF Investor Week, Monaco seized the opportunity to highlight its attractiveness as a base for startups and investors alike. “We want to show that Monaco is a land of entrepreneurship,” said one of the speakers, noting the country’s strategic focus on innovation, sustainability, and economic diversification. Local stakeholders stressed the Principality’s welcoming ecosystem, strong support structures, and ease of access to decision-makers and business leaders.
Participants emphasised that, while residents know Monaco’s dynamic business reality, many international investors are only just discovering its potential. Events like this offer a platform to change that perception and invite tech innovators, creatives, and entrepreneurs from across sectors to consider Monaco as a viable and vibrant location to scale their ventures.
Speakers also included founders who have already established businesses in Monaco, many of whom offered advice and encouragement to newcomers. Their message was clear: Monaco is not only a glamorous destination, but also a fertile ground for building serious businesses. With events like WBAF Investor Week, the Principality continues to signal its readiness to compete as a global hub for innovation and investment.
