The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco will host the 5th edition of its Fête du Musée on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 10:00 to 19:00, in a day dedicated to ocean awareness and discovery…

Organised by the Association of Friends of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco (AAMOM), the event follows the recent UN Ocean Conference in Nice and aims to reconnect children and families with the wonders of the sea through games, workshops, performances, and interactive activities.

Open to all visitors with a museum ticket, the day includes treasure hunts, science demos, storytelling, theatre, sport, eco-art, and tastings, all designed to foster ocean literacy and ecological awareness. The day also offers free access to AAMOM members, who enjoy year-round benefits and can support ocean conservation through memberships, donations, or symbolic animal sponsorships.

A highlight of the event is the immersive exhibition Méditerranée 2050, an ambitious installation spread over 1,000m² that takes visitors on a journey from the past to a possible future of a thriving marine reserve. With interactive features and spectacular visuals, it reinforces Monaco’s historic and ongoing commitment to protecting marine biodiversity.

The Fête du Musée captures the spirit of Prince Albert I’s enduring mission: to know, love, and protect the ocean. Local action and global awareness meet here in Monaco, with a family-friendly celebration rooted in science, storytelling, and hope. Full programme: amisdumom.com/fete-du-musee
