As Monaco prepares to host the 8th and 9th Monaco E-Prix on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4, followed by the 82nd Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix from Thursday, May 22 to Sunday, May 25, officials are encouraging visitors to use the Parking des Salines as the smart alternative for getting to the action. With its large capacity and strategic location on the western edge of the Principality, the facility offers a convenient way to avoid city-centre congestion while getting fans within striking distance of the circuit.

From the Salines car park, spectators can either hop on a free shuttle to Fontvieille — just five minutes from the circuit — or follow a clearly marked 16-minute pedestrian route that passes through key areas including the Galerie des Salines, Promenade Honoré II, Place du Canton and Place d’Armes. The shuttle service, run by the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco, is free to use with a valid parking ticket or QR code from an online booking. This route is particularly recommended for those with limited mobility.

Parking des Salines is offering a flat-rate deal of just 10 euros per day during the race weekends, valid for entries made between 6:00 and 18:00. By contrast, central car parks will be charging between 24 euros and 30 euros per day during the same period, meaning racegoers could save up to 67 percent by parking at Salines.

Drivers are encouraged to reserve their spot in advance through the RésaWeb platform at https://resa.parkings.mc. This not only secures a space but also provides the QR code required to access the free shuttle. In the world of Monaco race logistics, it’s about as close to a pit-lane advantage as the average spectator’s going to get.
