Monte-Carlo’s Festival des Etoilés is turning up the heat this year with the addition of two exceptional four-hands dinners, following fresh Michelin recognition for two of the principality’s standout restaurants, L’Abysse Monte-Carlo and Elsa.

On Sunday, April 27, just eight months after its grand opening, L’Abysse Monte-Carlo will host a rare culinary event celebrating the art of Japanese cuisine. The sushi haven, nestled within the Hôtel Hermitage and born from the partnership between multi-Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno and sushi master Yasunari Okazaki, recently earned two Michelin stars in one fell swoop. For one night only, Okazaki will be joined by Hirotaka Wada, head chef of London’s Michelin-starred Sushi Kanesaka. Together, the two Japanese masters will present a refined omakase menu that blends craftsmanship, seasonal precision, and reverence for ingredients in a tribute to traditional sushi culture. The experience is priced at 650 euros, including wine and sake pairings. Reservations can be made by calling +377 98 06 94 94.

Then on Tuesday, September 23, the spotlight shifts to Elsa at the Monte-Carlo Beach hotel, where Chef Marcel Ravin continues to make waves. One year after taking the helm, Ravin has successfully regained the restaurant’s Michelin star, reaffirming Elsa’s place as a temple of sustainable, Mediterranean fine dining. For the upcoming dinner, Ravin and Elsa’s Chef Domenico D’Antonio will welcome Florent Pietravalle, the creative force behind La Mirande in Avignon, which holds both a Michelin star and a coveted Green Star. The chefs will join forces for a menu inspired by the sea and garden, spotlighting locally sourced vegetables from the Agerbol estate and fish caught using sustainable methods. The dinner, set against a panoramic sea view, will cost 450 euros, with wine pairings available for an additional 225 euros. Reservations: +377 98 06 50 05.

These two exclusive evenings reinforce the Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo’s status as a must-attend celebration of haute cuisine, innovation, and international collaboration.
