The École Supérieure d’Arts Plastiques – Pavillon Bosio is ushering in spring with an ambitious programme of events that promise to engage, inspire, and connect Monaco’s artistic community with leading figures in architecture, design, and visual arts…
The first event takes place on Wednesday 26 March at 10am, when students will welcome Nina Artioli, director of the archives of iconic Italian architect and designer Gae Aulenti, and her granddaughter. This conference, part of the “L’entour” curriculum on exhibition scenography, is organised in collaboration with top institutions including Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture and the École des Beaux-Arts.
On Thursday 27 March at 6pm, the exhibition “Leaving the Ground” opens at the Quai Antoine I exhibition space. Conceived and curated by Pavillon Bosio’s third-year students, the show reflects on the spatial and conceptual relationships between their individual projects. The result is a collective display that balances personal expression with thoughtful scenographic presentation, a pivotal step in the students’ academic journey.
The final event is a conference and vernissage on Friday 28 March at 4pm, featuring a conversation between artist Nathalie Du Pasquier, art historian Valérie Da Costa, and curator Mathilde Roman, as part of the “Women are Beautiful” exhibition. Held at the Società delle Api (8 Quai Antoine I), the exhibition showcases the work of four influential Italian women artists, including Carla Accardi, Marisa Merz, Cinzia Ruggeri, and Du Pasquier herself, offering a rich perspective on female creativity in postwar Italy.
All events are free and open to the public, subject to available space.
