The Théâtre Princesse Grace is set to host a whimsical yet thought-provoking performance with Le Problème Lapin Cartographie 7 on Thursday, January 30, at 22:00…
Created and performed by former geographer Frédéric Ferrer, with the collaboration of actress Hélène Schwartz, this unique show delves into the curious proliferation of rabbits in urban spaces, a phenomenon that raises questions about environmental change and the unpredictable evolution of life.
This is the seventh instalment in Ferrer’s series of pseudo-academic performances, which began in 2010, blending humour, intellect, and theatrical flair. Using tools as varied as medieval engravings, stuffed animals, diagrams, and equations, Ferrer examines the roots of this rabbit explosion with a tongue-in-cheek approach that manages to entertain while educating. With an approximate runtime of 1 hour and 15 minutes and no intermission, the performance promises to be an immersive exploration of this ecological enigma.
In addition to Le Problème Lapin Cartographie 7, the January program at the Théâtre Princesse Grace includes an impressive lineup, featuring Variations énigmatiques by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt on January 9, Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco exploring love and desire on January 16, and La Note by Audrey Schebat on January 17.
Tickets can be booked via phone at +377 93 25 32 27 (Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.), by email at spectateurs@tpgmonaco.mc, or through montecarloticket.com. Don’t miss this quirky theatrical highlight!
