Building on the success of last year’s inaugural edition, Monaco’s Village of Sports officially opened on Friday, December 20, at 11:00 on the southern quay of Port Hercule. Organised by Monaco’s Sports and Associations Department, the event promises an even more thrilling experience for families and sports enthusiasts, with enhancements aimed at surpassing the 25,000 visitors -10,000 of whom were active young participants – that attended in its debut year.

This year, the obstacle course, inspired by the popular “Ninja Warrior” television show, has been revamped to include double the passage lanes, making it easier for children to participate and enjoy. Returning favourites such as the treetop adventure course, climbing wall, and the exhilarating 180-meter zipline are once again featured, offering thrilling challenges for all ages.

Starting December 25, a dedicated space near the Stade Nautique Rainier III will introduce children to the sport of ‘teqball’, an innovative combination of football and table tennis. The free, interactive sessions will run daily from 14:00 to 17:00, giving young participants a unique opportunity to explore this fun and fast-growing sport.

This year’s edition also includes improved facilities for parents and guardians, with benches and a refreshment stand located within the Village. This addition, made possible through collaboration with the Association of Monaco Guides and Scouts, ensures a more comfortable experience for accompanying adults while children engage in the activities.

The Village of Sports is quickly becoming a beloved holiday tradition, and this second edition is set to attract an even larger audience. For more information, including timings and access details, visit www.mairie.mc.
