The ceremony was followed by a luncheon hosted by Isabelle Berro-Amadei, Monaco’s Government Counsellor-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, at the Hermitage Hotel. The diplomats represent Uruguay, Colombia, the Holy See, and Angola.

Jorge Luis Jure Arnoletti, the new ambassador of Uruguay, brings decades of experience to his role, having served in diplomatic posts in New York, London, and Lebanon. Currently, he is also Uruguay’s ambassador to France and Algeria.

Hernando Alfonso Prada Gil, the Colombian ambassador, has an extensive background in law and politics, having served as Minister of the Interior and Secretary General under President Juan Manuel Santos. He also taught law for over 20 years at the Universidad Libre.

Guilhermina Prata, representing Angola, has held several high-level positions in her country, including Minister of Justice and President of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Commission. She now takes on the role of Ambassador to France, with accreditation to Monaco.

Lastly, Martin Krebs, Apostolic Nuncio for the Holy See, has a long and distinguished career in the Vatican’s diplomatic service, having served as a Nuncio in multiple countries, including Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco.
