The annual Monegasque picnic, U Cavagnëtu, is set to return on Saturday, September 7, at the Parc Princesse Antoinette. This traditional event is exclusively for Monegasques and their spouses, who will have to present an identity document at the park’s various entrances.
The evening’s program begins at 18:20. with a mass on the park’s sports field, followed by a picnic accompanied by music from the U Cantin d’A Roca choir and a Jazz Quartet led by Lionel Vaudano of the Rainier III Academy. A new feature this year is a grand ball, which will be held from 20:30 to 22:30 on the sports field.
On the day of the event, from 17:00, Monegasque ID or an invitation will allow for free access to the Monaco bus network and complimentary parking at the Jardin Exotique car park.
