Monaco is set to host the final stage of the 111th Tour de France on Sunday, July 21. This marks the 12th time Monaco has hosted the Grande Boucle and the 7th time it has served as a stage town. The 21st and concluding stage is an individual time trial starting in Monaco and finishing in Nice, which could be decisive for the overall victory.

Route Details

Riders will set off from Port Hercule, navigating through the streets of Monaco towards Beausoleil. The 34 km stage features two significant climbs: La Turbie (8.1 km at an average gradient of 5.6 percent) and Col d’Eze (1.6 km at 8.1 percent), before descending towards Nice via Villefranche-sur-Mer.

PMR Zone for Spectators with Reduced Mobility The Prince’s Government has designated a reserved area for people with reduced mobility (members of the Monegasque Association of the Motorly Disabled – AMHM, and holders of a Monegasque or European priority card) to watch the Tour’s start in Monaco. This area is located at 3-5 avenue JF Kennedy, under the new “Le Luciana” building, accessible via the “Costa” elevator near the Monegasque Institute of Sports Medicine (IM2S) on Avenue d’Ostende.

Rules for Spectators

  • Spectators must not run alongside the cyclists.
  • Access to the edge of the route will be controlled by barriers.
  • Spectators should follow the instructions of personnel managing pedestrian crossings, giving priority to Tour participants.
  • The use of drones is prohibited for security reasons.
  • Camper van parking is not permitted in Monaco.
