AS Monaco is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2024, providing a perfect opportunity to revisit the big and small stories that have shaped the legacy of one of the French championship’s greatest teams.
Since its inception on August 23, 1924, ASM has accumulated a rich and prestigious sporting heritage, including eight French championship titles, five French Cups, and memorable European campaigns, most notably the 2004 run to the Champions League final.
In celebration of its centenary, the Monegasque side is releasing an official “coffee table book” published by Amphora, which captures the best moments of the club. This comprehensive work will delight fans of the Principality side and football enthusiasts alike, featuring the iconic personalities, coaches, and players who, donning the famous diagonal jersey designed by Princess Grace, have contributed to the red and white’s extraordinary journey.
With more than 200 pages filled with archives and testimonies, the book includes prefaces by HSH Prince Albert and Club President Dmitry Rybolovlev. It showcases never-before-seen archival images, powerful portraits, and exclusive testimonies from key figures within the club, making it an essential addition to the libraries of all fans of Monaco’s own football team.

This book is one of many initiatives planned for ASM’s centenary celebrations and will be available for pre-sale from August 2024 at a price of 39.95 euros.
“We are very happy to offer this book to all AS Monaco lovers, and more generally to football fans, on the occasion of this exceptional event that represents the Club’s Centenary,” commented AS Monaco General Manager Thiago Scuro, adding that “this work, which is written by AS Monaco historian Norbert Siri, and for which we have benefited from the expertise of Editions Amphora, is aimed at all generations: from the youngest, who would like to know more about the rich history of our Club, to the oldest who wish to remember their most beautiful emotions.”
