HSH Prince Albert was on hand to unveil the new Tesla Cybertruck in front of a large crowd of curious onlookers in the Place du Casino this Tuesday, June 4, before becoming the first to drive Elon Musk’s unorthodox electric truck around the Principality, and in the European continent as a whole.
The Cybertruck is making its European car show debut at the Top Marques Monaco show, a great first in Europe for fans of futuristic automobiles, who must be quick to catch a glimpse as this pickup will only stay on display until the evening of Thursday, June 6. Thereafter, the Cybertruck will embark on a tour of Europe.
Tesla France director Mathieu Lenglin and the Top Marques director Emeric Garcia welcomed the sovereign, who went on to swap his classy Lexus for something slightly more angular. While many might have been able to make out the distinct shape of the Cybertruck under the black cover, the gathered crowd nevertheless gasped and applauded after its removal, the cover that is.
After a brief tour of the already Monegasque registration plated Cybertruck, Prince Albert took to the wheel and drove off for a spin of Monaco, before arriving at the Grimaldi Forum where the Top Marques show will take place, from Wednesday, June 5 until Sunday, June 9.
