Unlike that of London, Dubai and Doha, the next Twiga is set to open its doors within much closer proximity of the Principality. Monaco resident and former Formula 1 boss turned restaurateur, Flavio Briatore has selected the nearby Italian town of Ventimiglia as the next destination to boast a Twiga.

Titled ‘Twiga Baia Beniamin’, this location will be far from bustling streets, and will instead be situated within the rather picturesque Baia Beniamin, just a 20 minute drive away from Monaco. See the teaser below:

Despite its tucked away location, revellers will be delighted to discover that a shuttle boat service will be available and departing from Monaco to reach Baia Beniamin in 10 minutes. Alternatively, a helipad will allow for flashier entrances, while those on four wheels can take advantage of a valet parking service.

Ventimiglia Mayor Flavio Di Muro sees the opening of this latest Twiga as a unique opportunity for his town, with the new restaurant set to provide 40 to 45 jobs.

Meanwhile, Briatore was impressed with Mayor Di Muro’s fast turnaround, telling Italian publication Il Messagero “what struck me about Ventimiglia, is the Mayor. [In Italy] there’s so much bureaucracy. Usually it means nothing gets done. Here, however, we have a fabulous administration which, thanks to the Mayor in particular, helped us get over all the hurdles that usually scare business leaders off.”
