As part of its International Development strategy, the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer group has signed a partnership agreement with D.ream (Dogus Restaurant Entertainment & Management), a subsidiary of Dogus Hospitality Group.

For the SBM, it is a question of relying on the expertise of this major player in luxury and festive catering, with 16 brands present in 15 countries through 81 restaurants. Among the group’s already existing brands are Coya, Amazonico, Zuma, Roka, to name only the best known.

The new restaurant brand that will be created will capitalise on what characterises Monte-Carlo, its history of more than 160 years, its art of living and its culinary know-how.

The objective shared by the Chairman and Managing Director of Monte-Carlo SBM, Stéphane Valeri, and by the Chairman and CEO of the Dogus group, Ferit F. Sahenk, is to create a restaurant brand to be implemented in other target destinations in the world, to satisfy a demanding clientele with a refined, unique and contemporary offer, creating a new international growth driver for the Société des Bains de Mer.

SBM CEO Stéphane Valeri said: “this agreement marks a further step towards the opening of our group internationally, to reach its customers where they travel and reside . We will benefit from D.ream International’s experience in implementing and optimising restaurants with high brand potential. After the acquisition of a palace (hotel) in Courchevel 1850, this operational partnership will gradually position the SBM, with the opening of future restaurants, in other very popular locations in the world of luxury: such as Dubai, Miami and London, for example.”

Ferit F. Sahenk, President and CEO of the Dogus group, said: “We are happy with this partnership which will give birth to a new brand, which will highlight the values and strengths of Monte-Carlo, in line with our vision which is to create new generation luxury restaurants, based on great quality of cuisine and service but just as much on the experience and festive entertainment. We hope to be able to contribute as much as possible to the influence of the Principality of Monaco, as a partner of the Société des Bains de Mer. We already have two brands planned in Monte-Carlo, with Coya and Amazonico. It is our turn to participate, with great pride, in the development of the Monte-Carlo art of living beyond Monaco’s borders.”
