The Monegasque Financial Security Authority (AMSF) is in the process of publishing practical thematic and sectoral guides to help professionals operating in Monaco to identify and report suspicions of illicit transactions, the Government has said.
The guides aim to provide operational and concrete support for all those subject to amended law no. 1.362, the Government says. “More specifically, these guides allow: the promotion of understanding of those subject to their obligations concerning the systems in place to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and corruption.”
The guides have been revised and developed to help simplify the complexity of the subjects and answer questions relating to the operational needs of each professional. To do this, they integrate case studies to illustrate their obligations. The AMSF is organising a presentation of the new practical guide “Real Estate Agents” on Monday December 11 at 11:00 for the taxable persons concerned. This will take place in the auditorium of Lycée Rainier III.
