SBM is not the only establishment seeking to offer winter jobs in Courchevel to hospitality workers from Monaco and the surrounding area.
On August 31, the Fairmont Monte Carlo will host a jobs fair in cooperation with more than a dozen winter destination hotels and restaurants from Courchevel, where a shortage of hospitality workers mirrors the problems faced by such establishments in Monaco.
Corinne Secco, director of Courchevel emploi, told local French-language daily Monaco Matin: “It’s not easy in all areas and even more so in the seasonal hotel and catering industry… The goal is to develop with the Principality as a whole. Why not with other establishments? The idea is to facilitate the employment of seasonal workers. year in the future with availability in different winter and summer hotels.
On this occasion, 400 jobs are being offered in the winter resort for the 2023/2024 season.
