AS Monaco and the Interministerial Delegation in charge of Digital Transition (DITN) have announced their collaboration through the “Extended Monaco” program, which has become essential for the digital transformation of Monaco.
Over four years, innovation and digital technology have made great strides in the country, and today offer the entire population and workers sovereign, secure, inclusive and eco-responsible digital technology, the Government says.
Through this partnership, AS Monaco and the DITN wish to encourage supporters of the Rocher club to use new digital tools, promote innovation in the Principality, contribute to the influence and attractiveness of Monaco and make the Principality a European digital leader by combining their expertise and reputation.
While the AS Monaco ticket office will soon be integrated into the MONAPASS ticketing application, Monegasque supporters already have the possibility of opting for a 100-percent digital subscription for the 2023-24 season. The red & White club and the DITN will also launch the “Attractivity Challenges”, a competition open to young companies developing applications in the sporting field. In addition, content relating to AS Monaco events will be relayed on the “Your Monaco” application, a mobile application that relays practical information from the City-State (transport, construction sites, school menu, events calendar, weather report, local press review etc.).
Finally, the DITN will provide AS Monaco with its network of touch terminals located in bus shelters in order to promote its home matches and various events in the life of the Club.
Ben Lambrecht, AS Monaco General Manager, said: “We are very happy to be associated with the “Extended Monaco” program. The Principality of Monaco is at the forefront in the digital field, where it has, like AS Monaco, great ambitions. It was therefore natural to approach the Interministerial Department in charge of Digital Transition in order to join forces to promote innovation in the Principality and offer our supporters new tools to live their passion for the Club.”
Frédéric Genta, Interministerial Delegate for Attractiveness and Digital Transition, added: “We are delighted to launch this partnership with AS Monaco, a club rich in history and exploits, which continues to promote the Principality outside our borders. It is the first stone laid in a long and productive collaboration around essential themes that bind us such as the user experience, technological innovation and the attractiveness of our territory.”
