On Thursday morning HSH Princess Charlene took an active part in encouraging children of the 5th grade classes of the Charles III College, the 6th grade of the Institution François D’Assise-Nicolas Barré as well as the pupils of the CM2 classes of the Ecole de la Condamine who participated in sports rescue, water safety and first aid workshops on Larvotto beach.
The workshops are led by local diver Pierre Frolla and his team from the Monegasque Sea Academy in collaboration with trainers and rescuers from the Monegasque Red Cross.
The main purpose of the training is to help avoid child swimming deaths, a central aim of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation.
