Monaco’s British Association held its first King’s Birthday Party in living memory at the Novotel on Thursday evening. The Queen’s Birthday Party has been a firm fixture in the club’s calendar for many years.

Following an introduction from BAM President Yvonne Bernhardt, who thanked in particular BAM Vice-President Vanessa Ilsley and everyone who had helped make the event possible, the national anthems of Monaco and the United Kingdom were sung and the evening continued with more music.

Monaco’s expatriate British community is one of the largest in the Principality, surpassed in number by only the French and Italians.
