Wednesday was a busy day for Salim Zeghdar who in the afternoon led the official opening of this year’s Top Marques Monaco, of which he is CEO.

He was also appointed on a temporary basis to take over from Claude Palmero as administrator of the Prince’s property interests. Mr Palmero retired precipitously on Tuesday after 22 years in post.

HSH Prince Albert said he had accepted Mr Palmero’s decision to step down. He will work from home until Monday, June 12, at which point he will retire.

Mr Zeghdar is managing director of Monaco Live Productions and, as CEO, the man in charge of TV Monaco, which will launch later this year in cooperation with TV5 Monde.
