Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Chairman Stéphane Valeri has appointed Albert Manzone as Managing Director, effective from April 12.

Mr Manzone (59) has managed several major international companies and is a specialist in operational organisation and growth strategies.

He has worked with world-class brands such as PepsiCo, Davidoff and Novartis, SBM said on Wednesday, April 5.

Holder of an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Northwestern University in Chicago and a graduate in International Business from the Sorbonne (Paris), Albert Manzone will be responsible, under the authority of Mr Valeri, for all operations of the company, including Finance, Marketing and Digital, IT and Human Resources.

The Managing Director completes the management team, which recently saw the arrival of Virginie Cotta, appointed Secretary General alongside the Chairman and who is notably in charge of legal matters, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), partnerships institutional and strategic, heritage and real estate. Pascal Camia, current Director of Operations, has been entrusted with the strategic position of Director of International Development, directly linked to the Chairman, for whom this is one of SBM’s strategic priorities.

For the first time in the history of the company the four most important executives are all Monegasques.
