Virginie Cotta has taken office as Secretary General of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group, SBM said on Wednesday, March 8.
Her appointment closely follows that of Stéphane Valeri as Deputy Chairman of the Principality’s leading hotel and casino operator.
Virginie Cotta, a Doctor of Public Law, had worked alongside Stéphane Valeri for many years in the various functions he has held, as was the case in the Government where she was Director General of the Department of Social Affairs and Health, and more recently at the National Council, as Chief of Staff.
The new Secretary General’s mission is to support the Presidency on strategic matters.
She is also responsible for developing the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility programmes.
