Coronavirus hasn’t gone on holiday, but all of the indicators used in Monaco show a fall over the past week.
Of 29 patients being treated for coronavirus symptoms at Princess Grace Hospital 22 are Residents. But there are no longer any coronavirus patients in intensive care.
The number of Residents with mild symptoms recovering at home has fallen to 85.
Meanwhile, the benchmark incidence rate, the number of positive tests per 100,000 people, fell sharply over the seven days to Sunday, July 24, from 733 one week earlier to 460.
The latest figures suggest that the Monaco authorities are unlikely to reintroduce restrictions, such as the wearing of masks on buses, at least in the near future.
