The coronavirus situation in Monaco continues to worsen, with an increase in all indicators.
The admission of two patients to intensive care at Princess Grace Hospital marks a return to a clinical scenario that hasn’t been seen for several months. One of the two is a resident.
Sixteen residents are among 31 other patients being treated for coronavirus symptoms at CHPG.
During the past seven days 389 new coronavirus cases were reported in the Principality and 197 residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home.
The benchmark incidence rate rose to 994 per 100,000 population by Sunday, July 10, up from 748 one week earlier, while the positivity rate for the 2,550 PCR and antigen tests administered over the last seven days was 26.7 percent.
