Plans are well-advanced for the proposed Kempinski Hotel above Plage Marquet in Cap d’Ail.

The local community and the press will be invited to inspect the plans in February, Mayor of Cap d’Ail Xavier Beck said.

He pointed out that the biggest concern so far has been the height of the building, but the project will not take one centimetre away from anyone’s view over the sea, he said.

Once the project is approved a building permit will be issued this summer and the work will start before the end of the year. Delivery of the hotel is planned for 2025.
