Businesses in Monaco will be able to speed up their Internet connections by switching to the company’s Fibre Pro service.

Martin Peronnet, Monaco Telecom’s president, told a press conference on Tuesday evening that its services need to provide the highest-possible performance, a standard that is met by the newly-introduced system while also increasing security.

Eighty percent of businesses in the Principality are eligible for the service, with horizontal fibre connections in place.

Fibre Pro comes in three options, starting at 74.99 euros per month for the ‘Comfort’ service, 99.99 euros for Fibre Pro Premium, and 149.99 euros per month for Fibre Pro Platinum, all plus VAT.

All three levels come with unlimited fixed line calls to Monaco, France, EU, USA and Canada, and unlimited calls to mobiles in all the zones listed except for the European Union.

As well as a dedicated IP address and a domain name, 10 email addresses @monacodomain and 10 email addresses @monaco.mc are also included in all plans.

The ‘Box’ comes with one ethernet port with 10 Gbps LAN, four ports with one Gbps, and two USB ports. Connection is by QR code, except for Wi-Fi guest access.

The company has spent 20 million euros in creating what it calls “the infrastructure of the future.”
