In line with the Monegasque government’s energy transition policy, the Public Buildings Maintenance Service has installed photovoltaic panels on the roof of the Atelier des Ballets de Monte-Carlo.
This installation is composed of 228 photovoltaic modules and covers an area of 403 m2. The photovoltaic panels will produce 94,000 kWh of electricity per year, providing the Atlelier with energy autonomy of up to 30%.
The Public Buildings Maintenance Service also plans to carry out photovoltaic installations on the Scientific Centre of Monaco, the Scouts of Monaco, the Triton and the FNAB School. FNAB will benefit from a new generation of coloured modules that will provide an aesthetic solution for better visual integration within the district of Monaco Ville.
Government aid is currently available for the installation of photovoltaic-type electricity production devices in Monaco. To learn more, click here.
