Monaco’s coronavirus infection rate returned to its downward trend last week, following 3,262 tests.
The benchmark infection rate per 100,000 fell on Sunday, May 2, to 65.19 from 86.05 one week earlier. Some non-residents are included in the sample.
Meanwhile, in the neighbouring Alpes-Maritimes the rate dropped sharply to 125.5 per 100,000 on Monday, May 3. The average rate in France is 245.
Needless to say, a convergence of the benchmark rates in Monaco and the neighbouring French Department is good news for the Principality.
