Over the four days of Easter, the number of new coronavirus cases totalled 29, an average of seven a day. The number of Monaco residents in hospital has also fallen, to six on Monday. No resident is currently in intensive care at Princess Grace Hospital.

Additionally, the number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home has fallen to 64.

Government figures published on Friday showed that 30 percent of the Monaco population has been vaccinated with at least the first dose. The figure in the neighbouring Alpes-Maritimes is 15 percent. The difference will pose challenges for the Principality in weeks to come, and only an easing of vaccine supplies in France will address this issue.
