An 86 year-old resident who tested positive for coronavirus has died at Princess Grace Hospital, the Monaco authorities announced on Sunday evening.
A further 14 new cases were also reported in a 24-hour period, together with 12 full recoveries.
A total of forty-two residents are being treated as in-patients at CHPG, two in intensive care.
One hundred and twenty-two residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home under the supervision of the Home Monitoring Centre.
The new case figure was 27 on Friday and 18 on Saturday, bringing the three-day weekend total ro 59. Friday saw the third consecutive daily death.
In the meantime, 21,088 new cases and 587 new deaths were reported in the UK and 19,235 new cases and 195 new deaths in France on Sunday, January 31.
