With only seven new cases being reported over the previous two days, it was hoped that the downward trend in new coronavirus would continue.
However, on Tuesday, November 10, 22 new cases were reported among residents in Monaco, taking the total since the start of the outbreak to 512.
Of twelve residents currently receiving treatment at the Princess Grace Hospital, four are in intensive care.
Nine full recoveries were also announced on Tuesday evening.
A total of 97 residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home, the Government said.
In the UK, 20,412 new cases and 532 new deaths were reported on Tuesday, November 10.
In France on Tuesday, 22,180 new cases and 857 new deaths were reported, including 363 deaths that occurred earlier in old peoples’ homes.
