The stairs leading from Place des Moulins in Monaco to blvd. de France in Beausoleil have been completely refurbished.
Previously rather gloomy, with a black rubber floor covering, and known by some as ‘the black stairs of death,’ the La Noix steps are now much lighter in colour, and with much-improved lighting.
The facing stones have been cleaned and the fountain at the side of the steps has been refurbished.
The stairs provide the shortest route from the bus stops at Place des Moulins to College Charles III.
