The unfortunate but necessary decision has been made by the Children & Future association to cancel what would have been the 21st edition of the popular charity fundraiser ‘No Finish Line’. The event, which has helped children around the globe, is usually set at Fontvieille where a 1,400m course is set up for runners to tackle over the course of eight full days.

Runner, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in this annual sporting fundraiser and each at their own pace. For each kilometre travelled, the Children & Future association donates €1 to support projects for sick and disadvantaged children as funds are raised through registrations, donations and sponsorships.

Due to the close proximity of participants at the event, this years edition will not go on. Not in the usual, physical context at least. The event is set to take a virtual form instead, putting the usual Fontvieille jog on hold in favour of a socially-distanced, virtual approach. Further information is yet to come but for the charitable athletes of the Principality, there is still hope.
