Monaco’s Larvotto Beach was reopened to the public on Saturday, July 4, after its closure during the coronavirus crisis and ongoing construction work.
Some visitors were surprised to learn that masks are needed to gain access.
The beach will close again in mid-September as the major renovation project continues until a full reopening next summer. In the meantime, work continues behind a fence.
