Jean‑Luc Biamonti, CEO of the Monte‑Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) has issued a statement of welcome to returning clients and outlined the comprehensive range of measures that have been put in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests.

“More than ever, we look forward to meeting you and making Monaco the destination of the Great Art of Living that it has always been,” he said.

“SBM is committed to the protection of employees and customers, is responsible for compliance with the new rules and ready and delighted to welcome you in the best conditions.”

Among the measures being taken are social distancing for staff and clients, controlling the flow of visitors, limitation on the numbers of clients at any one time, the wearing of masks, and temperature control for everyone who enters. Anyone who registers a body temperature of more than 38 degrees will not be admitted.

In the hotels, very extensive measures have been implemented to provide the safest possible environment.

In the casinos, apart from social distancing and masks, hand sanitiser dispensers will be provided so that players can wash their hands before every throw of the dice.
