Monaco’s most important hotel operator, SBM, said on Sunday, March 15, that its hotels, the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the Hermitage Monte-Carlo and the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort remain open, although casinos, restaurants and bars, as well as care and wellness establishments have been closed until further notice in view of the coronavirus threat.

Cancellation and refund policies have been relaxed, so that all reservations (even non-cancellable or non-modifiable) for a stay before April 30, 2020, may be modified or cancelled without penalty, up to 24 hours before the arrival date.

“The safety, health and well-being of our customers, visitors and employees is our priority,” said Jean-Luc Biamonti, SBM’s Deputy Chairman. “We thank you for your trust and your loyalty. Take care of yourself, your families and loved ones,”

The Fairmont Monte-Carlo also remains open for guests, but its restaurants are closed.
